ABSTRACT INSTRUCTIONS
All instructions for preparing the abstract are given below and serve as an example.
Please follow these instructions carefully, save the abstract in the MS Word as
Last Name.doc and send it in the electronic form to djaja100@bio.bg.ac.rs (in Subject write your selected topic as abbreviated in the Registration form).
ABSTRACT FOR SYMPOSIUM "ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF IVAN DJAJA’s (JEAN
GIAJA) BELGRADE SCHOOL OF PHYSIOLOGY"

___The abstracts must be prepared exactly according to these instructions. The maximal
size of the abstract is 16.0 x 10.5 cm (6.3 x 4.1 inch), which is maximal 1900 keystrokes.
The whole abstract must be written in Times New Roman, size 11 and in single spacing.
The title should be written in capital letters, in bold and should not be longer than two
lines. After the title, please leave one line space. Presenting author should be underline.
Start with the last name and then with initials of the frst name. After each initial please
put the dot. Authors should be separated by a comma. Immediately after the author’s
names please write the affliation by italics (Institute, City and Country). Use the standard
abbreviations, if necessary. Leave one line space between the heading and abstract. The
entire abstract should be written in one paragraph, with the 3-space indent at the frst line
of the abstract. State the specifc objective of the study, methods employed, summary of the
results obtained and conclusions.
